Created during lockdown this painting is one of four that depicts a meadow bursting into bloom. Bright, joyful colours contrast with the mood during confinement but the regularity of nature providing a clear sign of optimism and hope.
Shortlisted in the Daily Mail national art competition and awarded Best of the Rest in Glorious Britain in Spring. This painting was exhibited at the Mall Galleries Glorious Britain in Spring exhibition.
The painting is on a 15½” square canvas, created using a variety of mediums from acrylics to crayons, charcoal to oil pastels and is framed in a white wooden frame
