Happy St. Patrick’s Day

Next to Christmas and Easter this must be one of the most celebrated days with religious origins for people in the UK, Ireland, Australia and North America.

Celebrations generally involve public parades, festivals and of course merriment and alcohol all of which take place on the 17th March which marks the death of the patron saint of Ireland.  So today is a time to paint your face green, wear shamrocks and don silly felt hats or alternatively you can simply enjoy a glass or two of one of Ireland’s most famous exports….
