So having moved back up to the North East I realised that my usual go to’s for workshops and general art play aren’t that accessible any more so thought I’d check out what is available so a couple of weeks ago I signed up for a half day workshop at The Biscuit Factory. The session was focused on marbling and some basic book binding.
The venue is great – a nice sized workshop on the second floor of the gallery and a great opportunity for a bit of a mooch around before it started. The session was good, quite basic but a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
We started by creating marbled paper designs
and then moved on to binding
and left with a good selection of papers and little notebooks.
