Today is apparently wear a flower day – a chance to spread a little floral cheer to combat the doom and gloom.
The celebration seems to have been introduced by the North of England Horticultural Society (NEHS) to coincide with the launch of the new Harrogate Flower Show spring exhibition HortCouture. I’m sure they intended this to focus on actual flowers but I thought I’d give it a more handmade feel with a selection of somemy favourite paper flower creations.
The first are the paper flowers I made for our wedding – check out my previous post for details of how to create tissue roses – https://ragtagmagpie.com/2017/07/13/easy-to-make-paper-flowers/
But if paper roses aren’t your thing Lia Griffiths has an amazing selection of tutorials for a range of different paper flowers.
