Ok finally got round to making this year’s Christmas cards and as we had 140 to create I went for quite a simple design.
I started off by playing with coloured ink on wet paper to make some interesting abstract patterns. I used this to make a box full of stars.
I bought a load of plain white greetings cards and with a metallic sharpie drew a single line down the centre of the card – well actually my husband did this as he’s a bit more accurate than me!
Once these were all complete I stuck the stars to plain white card and cut around leaving about 2-3mm of the plain card showing and attached a piece of glue gel so that they stand proud of the card once attached.
The last stage is assembling the card. Attach the star to the card, lining it to the centre line and then for a bit of bling 3 tiny beads and you’re done – well aside from writing them out.
and just to give you a summary image….
