Yesterday I was in London on a business conference and was lucky enough at the end of the day to get time to skip across town in time for last entry to the summer exhibition.
I was planning a visit the weekend after next but as there is also a Giacometti exhibition on at the Tate Modern that I wanted to visit I thought dragging my husband along to two in one day may be a bit too much.
The exhibition runs from 13th June – 20th August and is definitely worth a visit! Beautifully curated with a great mixture of styles, sizes and mediums.
I’ve been going to the summer exhibition for about 4-5 years now and it is always amazing how they cram in so many different creations into such a small space and this year whilst it feels like it favours slightly more of the work of professional artists the diversity and range is fabulous.
I love the mixture of professional art alongside paintings from ambious amateurs.
